Fusible link (manual)
Fusible link fire shutters are designed to remain in the open position during normal operation. In the event of a fire, the fusible link activates at approximately 100°C, automatically releasing the shutter and allowing the fire-rated curtain to close, thereby helping to contain the spread of fire and smoke.
Electrically Operated
Electric operated with a single or three phase motor systems can be interfaced with the buildings existing fire detection system or fire panel i.e. the signal from the fire detection panel will activate the motor and close the fire shutter in the event of a fire or the backup fusible link will detonate at 100° degrees Celsius therefore closing the fire-proof curtain.
